Disability Resources (DRS) New Student Orientation

In-person
09/22/2023, 2:00 pm–3:00 pm
Mary Gates Hall (MGH) 271

Welcome new Huskies! Hopefully you have already registered with DRS for disability accommodations, and had your Access Planning Meeting (APM). We know navigating the university can be a challenge for any student, so DRS wants to share tips on how to use your accommodations effectively in courses. We will also share how to problem solve situations in courses, go over topics from your APM in more detail, and recommend other resources on campus. We are excited to share study tips for students with psychological or learning disorders that we published on our new website https://www.washington.edu/drs/academic-skills/. Last, we hope you will meet other DRS students to start making connections and building community.
