Calling all outdoor-curious folks!!!

Join us for a 30-minute sailboat cruise on Lake Washington on September 22nd anytime from 1pm to 6:30pm for the UW recreational sailing club’s Autumn Quarter Open House event!

Come meet the student-run (and ironically-named) Washington Yacht Club based out of the UW Waterfront Activities Center— right by Husky Stadium! We teach sailing year-round on Union Bay and beyond, and we would love to have you on board a boat bound for Lake Washington, with sights of the campus waterfront, the wildlife of Union Bay, and Mount Rainier from the water (weather permitting)!

Absolutely no sailing experience is required; just show up! We will provide SNACKS, DRINKS, and LIFE JACKETS! We recommend bringing water, sunglasses/sunscreen, and warmer layers.

• If you are a graduate student or UW staff, we recommend arriving for our grad & staff-focused hours between 1pm and 3:00pm.
• If you are an undergraduate student, we recommend arriving for our undergrad student-focused hours between 3:30pm and 6:30pm.
