Come help the SER-UW Native Plant Nursery get ready for fall!

The SER-UW Native Plant Nursery is a student-powered nursery that grows native plants for restoration sites both on and off campus, as well as for public plant sales that happen twice a year. If you love plants, the outdoors, are interested in learning about Seattle’s native ecosystems, and are curious about what goes into growing plants at scale, this is the place for you!

The SER-UW Native Plant Nursery also takes on 2-3 new interns each quarter; this event will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the internship and connect with current interns.

At this work party, we will be washing plant pots so we can be prepared to plant seeds, cleaning and weeding our outdoor plant storage area, and re-potting plants into larger containers. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes, bring a water bottle, and we recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen.
