Interested in a career in a health profession? Interested in how people’s health is affected by their environment? This interactive session will support pre-med & pre-med curious students as they learn about the BS in Environmental Public Health and how this degree would prepare them for a career in medicine. Join Janet Hang, Counseling Services Coordinator and Dan Poux, Manager of Career Services as they help you reflect on what you want/need to do before graduation and before application to medical school. Students will learn how to coordinate their coursework for the BS in Environmental Public Health with the additional pre-requisite courses for medical school; explore how to gain clinical/research/leadership experience along the way; and how to have the Husky Experience that you worked so hard to get here for. You’ll also get to hear from Environmental Public Health alumni who are currently in and recently graduated from medical school.
