Socialist Alternative at UW Open Meeting

Socialist Alternative led the movements behind the $15/hour minimum wage and tax on Amazon in Seattle, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. Come to our open meeting to discuss the strategies it will take to win affordable housing, an end to the genocide in Gaza, and rights for trans people, immigrants, and all workers.

We say:

• No deportations! Build school, community, and union deportation defense committees!
• No money for war and genocide! Fund schools and social services!
• Fight climate change! Take the fossil fuel industry into democratic public ownership for a total transition to renewable energy!
• End attacks on trans youth! Free healthcare for all including gender-affirming care and abortion access!
• The Democrats are a dead end! Build a new, anti-war mass party of students and working people to fight Trump and the far right!
• We need a new system: join the fight for socialism!
